I build the layer other engineers deploy onto.

Six years at Sportradar, currently senior on the Live Data team running Kubernetes on AWS for sports data at broadcast scale. I work on the parts that decide whether a platform is genuinely self-service or just a queue with extra steps: cluster architecture, deployment paths, autoscaling, and the ingress and identity plumbing underneath.

I'm looking for a lead or staff platform role somewhere the work matters more than the multiple. Get in touch.

Working notes from real migrations

• MSK multi-region connectivity, IAM, and knowing when to stop

  Enabling IAM and SASL multi-VPC connectivity for managed Kafka was the easy part. The managed cross-region replication POC taught more by being removed.

• Scaling Kafka consumers on KEDA with IAM authentication

  Consumer lag is the only autoscaling signal that means anything for a Kafka consumer. Getting KEDA to read it when the cluster uses IAM auth is where the work is.
